OPENING OF THE USPTU LABORATORY

On December 3, the grand opening of the laboratory of "Relay Protection and Automation of Electric Power Systems", re-equipped with the support of “SNEMA-SERVIS” LLC, was held at the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “SNEMA-SERVIS” LLC Albert Nurimanovich Bagautdinov and the Rector of USPTU Baulin O.A., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ibragimov I.G., Vice-Rector for Operation and Development of the Property Complex Volkov A.V., Director of the Institute of Digital Systems, Automation and Energy Pavlova Z.K., an honorary guest - Deputy of the State Assembly of Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rufina Alikovna Shagapova.

Baulin O.A. thanked Bagautdinov A.N. for his attention to the issues of high-quality training of future specialists. Now the Department of “Electrical Engineering and Electrical Equipment of Enterprises” at the Institute of Digital Systems, Automation and Energy of USPTU has an experimental base for conducting full-scale simulation for the implementation of research works by graduate students and masters. The equipment of the laboratory is represented by electromechanical, induction, static and micro-processing devices of relay protection and automation by LLC "STC "Mekhanotronika", Cheboksary Electrical Equipment Plant and Schneider Electric. A unique (in contemporary terms) opportunity to meet offline with a potential employer was given to the people present at the opening of the laboratory.

"To become a good specialist, you need to gain practical experience in parallel with your studies," - this advice was given to the students of the “Department of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Equipment of Enterprises” by Bagautdinov A.N. In the course of live communication they discussed the topics of online meetings between students and specialists of “SNEMA-SERVIS” LLC, practices and employment, as well as the possibility of creating a corporate group at the enterprise.
